Beschreibung
"In this practical guide, author Jennifer Pieratt provides a simple and easy-to-use format for planning authentic Project-Based Learning experiences for secondary learners. Using backwards design, Pieratt helps teachers identify the best concepts to tackle in PBL experiences, and brainstorm realistic projects to help them understand those concepts. The book is grounded in the best practices of the Buck Institute for Education, High Tech High Schools, and the New Tech Network, but lends a simplicity to these complex systems that gives teachers ready-to-use strategies without wading through theory. It also brings new understanding to PBL assessments and gives teachers ideas for both formative and summative assessments. This book guides elementary teachers through this process: Planning PBL for the Year Brainstorming Start with the end in mind Benchmarking Assessments Calendar/Daily Learning (Pacing) Launching Your Project"--
