Dr. Ryan Dunn has collaborated and advised schools and districts in the U.S and Australia. He has worked extensively in the United States, where he led large-scale research and professional learning initiatives in New York City and California. In Australia, Ryan is a lead consultant within the Curiosity and Powerful Learning initiative that works with over 100 primary and secondary schools in Victoria and Queensland. He is also consults with Simon Breakspear and currently works with over 500 school and system leaders in South Australia as part of this role. As a lecturer at the University of Melbourne his university work focuses on design thinking, teacher professional learning, educational leadership, practitioner research and primary mathematics. Ryan has been a critical friend and keynote presenter for the University of Melbourne Network of Schools where he has delivered keynotes on Leading Improvement, Professional Learning Teams and Mathematical Reasoning.
Professor John Hattie is Laureate Professor, Chair of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leaders, co-director of the Science of Learning Research Centre. His areas of interest are measurement models and their applications to educational problems, and models of teaching and learning. He has published and presented over 1000 papers, and supervised 199 theses students, and 29 books - including 12 on Visible Learning.
