Established in 1920 and staged in Paris on the Bois de Boulogne, the Arc is a truly international contest attracting runners from England, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Germany and the USA. Über den Autor

Malcolm Pannett has been a horse-racing journalist and broadcaster since 1988. He worked on the original horse-racing telephone information lines and then the services that replaced them, namely web radio and podcasting. He has written for many racing publications and websites, most recently previewing French race meetings for the PMU. Malcolm also works at several racecourses on the owners' and trainers' desk.
