In Part 1, Windy presents a personal overview of brief therapy and outlines key elements of the single-session therapy mindset that inform this approach to brief therapy. In Part 2, Windy Dryden discusses his work with Nicole, whom he saw for brief therapy for three sessions. The transcripts of the sessions Windy had with Nicole are included, together with his commentary. Nicole provided a reflection based on a structured questionnaire for inclusion in this book, which appears after the transcripts. Windy Dryden closes the book with reflections and concluding remarks in Part 3.
