Vagyoga - The Yoga of the Sanskrit Language, the foundational volume of the Mantrashiksa series, is a comprehensive guide to the pronunciation, recitation, and inner understanding of Sanskrit mantras. It not only teaches correct articulation and sound combination, but also opens up the deeper philosophical and spiritual dimensions of mantra practice.
Covering both the inner and the outer aspects of mantra practice, this book offers an essential foundation for anyone wishing to explore the living power of the Sanskrit language. Through clear explanations of pronunciation, phonetics, and recitation techniques, together with profound insights into Kashmiri Shaivism, Vagyoga bridges the science of sound and the experience of spiritual realisation.
The Mantrashiksa series presents practices designed to train consciousness in the tradition of ancient Indian yoga. It also includes authentic mantras and ritual practices (puja), offering a unique collection of beautiful and powerful Sanskrit texts.
As the first volume in the series, Vagyoga includes all mantras and exercises with accompanying MP3 recordings, allowing readers to encounter the living sound and vibration of Sanskrit directly.
