Über den Autor
Katie Novak, Ed.D., is an internationally renowned education consultant, a graduate instructor at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, and author of nine books on inclusive practices, including the bestsellers UDL Now!, Innovate Inside the Box with George Couros, and Equity by Design with Mirko Chardin. Novak has provided in-person professional development, long-term implementation, and consulting in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), inclusive practices, and equity in education in 27 states and 10 countries and has worked with high- pröle clients such as the NASA Science Activation Team, the Gates Foundation, Harvard University, Los Angeles Unied School District, and PBS Learning Media. Additionally, Novak has worked directly with state departments of education in Ohio, Washington, Minnesota, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Arizona, California, and Massachusetts to provide professional learning on UDL and the development of research-based multitiered systems of support. She has worked with the U.S. Department of Education Jobs for the Future (JFF) through the School Turnaround Learning Community and with the Office of Special Education Programs.
