Beschreibung
This study set out to interview nurses at one particular Magnet Hospital to get their perspective about what voice means and what it means working in that particular institution. Magnet Hospitals have been in the nursing literature since the early 1980's. Magnet Hospitals are named as such because they are able to attact nurses to them despite the fact that other institutions are struggling to retain and hire staff as they are noted for their excellence in nursing care. Magnet Hospitals have also demonstrated lower nursing burnout, greater nursing autonomy, greater patient satisfaction and have greater nursing power withing the organizational structure.
