In addition, he is fascinated by historical facts, especially in the field of the history of technology and science; his book "Weltgeschichte des Erfindungsschutzes" (World History of Invention Protection) is a result of this interest. ¿ The present book is his first novel and deals with the beginnings of intercontinental radio communications; it was inspired by a visit to the last preserved and still operational very long wave transmitter (a World Heritage Site since 2004) in Grimeton, Sweden. - Peter Kurz is a licensed ham. He lives and works in Germany and Switzerland.
