Ten Questions to Ask My Doctor about My Breast Cancer addresses many of the pivotal decisions patients must navigate when they are newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Intended to orient those with breast cancer to the choices they will face as they meet with their health care providers, this book will help readers feel in control throughout their cancer journey.

There is a vast and growing body of knowledge about breast cancer which considers the various surgeries, types of chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and endocrine therapies now used to fight the disease. Treatment is highly variable from physician to physician and from country to country. Navigating these paths requires an understanding of how care will be delivered as well as the expected benefits, side effects, and possible risks. Renowned breast cancer researchers Dr. Steven Narod and Dr. Katarzyna Jerzak break down the questions most often posed by their patients into chapters, providing readers the fundamental framework needed to enter into an informed discussion with their caregivers.

Ten Questions to Ask My Doctor about My Breast Cancer summarizes up to date research with robust expertise to help alleviate the confusion, anxiety, and stress brought on by a breast cancer diagnosis.
