Over the past two decades, the concepts of reparation, restitution, and commemorative culture have gained momentum in academic, activist, artistic, and political contexts. How can the humanities help address structural injustices and by definition irreparable crimes against humanity in order to build a liveable future? To answer this question, the present volume brings together perspectives from cultural studies, literature and the arts.
