She received a B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Science from MIT and conducted two years of research in the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Drug Delivery at Harvard Medical School/Koch Institute for Integrated Cancer Research at MIT prior to receiving an M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her intern year at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School prior to her general ophthalmology training at MEEI where she is currently engaged in a mix of clinical, surgical, didactic and research activities.Alice C. She graduated with a BS in Biology from Yale University and subsequently earned her MD at Harvard Medical School and MPH in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. A graduate of the Harvard Ophthalmology Residency Program, Dr. Lorch served as Chief Resident and Director of the Trauma Service and then joined the Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Consultation Service at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. She is the Program Director of the Harvard Ophthalmology Residency Program and the Associate Chief for Quality in Ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. Her research interests are centered around quality, outcomes and education.
