Aisha Wright was born in England and became Muslim in 1992. She has lived in several countries and is committed to building communities, work which has included radio producing and presenting, and helping to set up and teach at a young woman's college in South Africa, as well as running a large household that hosts numerous visitors. She has worked for many years on the preparation and publication of contemporary Sufic discourses. Aisha is married with five children and runs a Psychosynthesis counselling practice.
