Über den Autor
Christen Mullane, Ph.D. is a psychologist, writer, and human who cares about making healthcare healing. She is also a certified meditation teacher. She completed her graduate studies in psychology through the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, and her meditation teacher training through the Lab of Meditation in Vancouver, Canada. Over the course of her clinical career, she has worked in medical settings including emergency rooms, primary care clinics, ICUs, palliative care clinics, cancer clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. She has supported patients through experiences as diverse as COPD, strokes, heart attacks, cancer diagnosis and treatment, complicated births, POTS, diabetes, Crohn's and colitis, medical errors and medication reactions. She is deeply passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced and witnessed stressful and traumatic medical events, whether they identify as patients, caregivers, or healthcare providers.
