The "golden age of childhood" with its desire for development and a willingness to learn describes a normal development. However, it may also show disruptions, which had so far not been recognisable, and which present themselves as learning difficulties, behavioural problems, fits of anger or tendencies to withdraw or use violence. Extensive case studies from child analyses show how inner conflicts may be identified and integrated with the help if interpretations.
