C. Lee Braxton was born in Burbank, CA. Was diagnosed learning disabled in 1st grade and placed in special education classes and stayed in those classes through high school. Was part of the disabled student center at two community colleges and received an AA degree in Humanities. She read a lot books (Ann McCaffrey mostly and some J.R.R. Tolkien) and would write in note books (Mostly story ideas and character bios). She published a few poems and short stories at the college. She carried this book around for 25 years before publishing it, thanks for her Husband who believed in her and helper her work despite her disabilities (ADD and High Functioning Autism). She is now what she always wanted to be, an author (who does not let her limitations define her) and she has many more stories to tell.
