Beschreibung
How can you make the best of a crisis? How can you turn the struggles that are a part of everyday life into successes? Is it possible to emerge from your darkest moments into a bright and better future for yourself and others?
In this ground-breaking book, Dr Emmanuel Nsutebu shows that these are all possible. Tragedy struck when his close friend suddenly passed away due to sepsis (uncontrolled and undiagnosed infection) following a minor hospital procedure. He uses the story of this crisis to describe his subsequent work which has led to life saving changes to sepsis recognition and management in the UK and Africa.
We are perpetually either in a crisis, emerging from a crisis, or just about to experience one. That is the reality of life! Your biggest problem or crisis may in fact be your greatest gift. You can either grow through your difficulties, or simply get through them. Growth is what great people do! Learn to use your struggles in your favour. Success is about how you respond to a problem or crisis.
You will learn Dr Emmanuel's Five-Step Model for turning struggles into success, just like a recipe is guaranteed to produce an excellent meal any time. Everybody can learn this essential skill, and the more you practice the better you will become. Dr Emmanuel's Five Step model can be used successfully by individuals, teams or large organizations. Every leader needs this skill.
