He has experience as an artist, a floral designer, a photographer, an event planner, and after publishing his first book . . . a writer. For the past six years, he has been documenting his Oak Cliff home renovation on his blog; The Cavender Diary ([...]). He loves finding creative, new ways to use plumbing pipe for projects everywhere in the house.
