Beschreibung

Coronary CT angiography has attained increasing scientific attention at academic institutions and has become a highly accurate diagnostic modality. Extending this knowledge into a practice setting is the purpose of "Coronary CT Angiography". The specific features of scanners from all four main vendors are also presented providing an objective overview of noninvasive coronary angiography using CT.

Über den Autor

Dr. Marc Dewey has published more than 30 papers on noninvasive cardiac imaging over the last three years. Among them is a landmark paper published in the Annals of Internal Medicine in 2006 showing that CT coronary angiography is more accurate than magnetic resonance imaging. Dr. Dewey's team is well known for the cardiac imaging workshops held at the Charité and he is a renowned speaker on cardiac imaging. Experts for the scanners of all four vendors such as Dr. Martin Hoffmann will contribute to the corresponding chapters.
