Beschreibung

Brilliant Activities to Stimulate Creative Thinking contains over 150 entertaining, open-ended challenges providing mental stimulation for all children, not just gifted and talented children.

The activities are designed to develop pupils' higher level thinking skills. The creative, challenging activities develop mental agility and the ability to 'think outside the box'. Children's overall confidence and self-esteem will increase as they work through these challenges where there are no correct answers and any input is valued. The 10-15 minute activities can be used first thing in the morning to fire-up a class, to engage fast finishers, or for homework. All the activities require minimal preparation.

Über den Autor

Whilst training to become a teacher Will Hussey occasionally hypnotised his friends in to thinking they were chickens. He's still very interested in understanding how people tick (but not so much in the chickens). Will practises his forward-thinking strategies with primary school pupils, and from time-to-time lectures in learning, communication and congruence - amongst other things. He recently decided to write down some of his ideas, and hopes you like them. Will has completed three London marathons and the Snowdonia marathon (just about). He's vowed "never again," again.
