Born in 1961, Mirco Lazzari is a motorsport photographer since 1989. From 2001 he has been following the MOTOGP races, and from 2004, he has covered some Formula 1 races too. He has been awarded with several prizes. Among them are the Fuji Sport Award for the Sport category (2004), the FIM Award in 2004, the Mild Seven Renault F1 for the English event of the 2006 season, the Confartigianato Prize in 2006 and the Bandini Prize in 2008. Lazzari’s pictures, distributed in the past from Grazia Neri photo agency and from Getty Images today, are published on the most important newspapers and magazines - both in Italy and worldwide - as well as on motorsport books.
