Über den Autor
Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888) was an American novelist and short story writer best known for Little Women and its sequels. Raised in a family associated with the Transcendentalist movement, Alcott worked as a teacher, governess, seamstress, and nurse before achieving literary success. Her writing often drew upon her own experiences and addressed themes of family life, personal independence, and the moral development of young women. Today she remains one of the most widely read authors in American literature.
