Stella Dreis, geboren 1972 in Bulgarien, hat bereits mit zehn Jahren angefangen zu malen. Sie studierte zunächst an der Modeakademie in Hamburg, wo sie bereits während des Studiums mehrfach ausgezeichnet worden ist und verschiedene Nachwuchspreise erhalten hat. Seit 2002 arbeitet sie als Illustratorin und Malerin. Stella Dreis lebt in Heidelberg.
Christiane Körner ist Übersetzerin aus dem Russischen. Sie hat unter anderem Werke von Alissa Ganijewa, Lidia Ginsburg und Wassili Grossman ins Deutsche übertragen. 2017 wurde sie mit dem Paul-Celan-Preis ausgezeichnet.
