Prof. Dr. Ednan Aslan is Professor of Islamic Religious Education at the University of Vienna, where he has led the development of academic programs in Islamic theology since 2011. He served as the founding director of the Islamic-Theological Studies program and has significantly shaped the discourse on Islam in European educational contexts. His research focuses on Islamic pedagogy, interreligious dialogue, and the role of Muslim communities in secular societies.

Kamil Öktem holds a PhD in Arabic and Islamic Studies, with a focus on language, Qur'anic exegesis, epistemology, skepticism, and philosophy of language. His research centers on the post-formative period of Islamic thought, especially discursive theology, the linguistic turn, and the works of Fakhr al-Dn al-Rz. He is also active in teaching and the development of digital formats for Islamic knowledge. His broader interests include policy advising, extremism prevention, and applied theology.
