The friendship is colored by relationships with Marina Abramovi¿, Era, Julije Knifer, Nina Pops, Alex Caldiero, Sam Rushforth, and--above all--Peter Handke, who was 'the hero of our books,' they write, 'and the author of works we have translated and that have translated us.'
