Welcome to the Morgan family home! Let me give you a tour. Each room in this Victorian household has a special purpose and is favored by a unique feline inhabitant. From the cuddly and adorable Nursery Kittens to Aunt Pru’s Persian, there's a tale behind each kitty companion—and a family member who loves them. From the Cook's Cat to Grandad's Silver Tabby, the Morgans' cats will capture your heart, and the knitting pattern for each will have your needles flying.

There are 20 cats in all, with complete instructions to knit each one. Most of the patterns in this book have sections which are worked flat and sections which are worked in the round, so your attention will always be held. A few of them are geared toward the beginner, with shaping achieved by simple increasing and decreasing. Others are more challenging, but even these will be easily accomplished if undertaken with an adventurous spirit. The Morgans and their kitties are sure to delight all cat-loving knitters!
  • 20 knitted cat patterns, lapping up milk, lounging in the sun, stretching by the fire, peeking out the window, sitting up for treats, pouncing on a mouse, standing on your papers, snoozing on their back with their little tummy up, nursing little kittens, arching for a big stretch, loafing comfortably, curled up for warmth, and, of course, cleaning their little paws
  • Most patterns are appropriate for intermediate knitters, but some are appropriate for beginners; work through different cats to build your skills!
  • Can be made in any color to match your favorite cat coat patterns
  • Low-sew or no-sew designs make it easier to finish each piece
  • Most patterns worked in size 4, aran weight yarn, with 3.75mm needles (both straight and double pointed)
  • 8.5in x 11in pages make it easy to read the written instructions
  • Written and designed by humans, for humans!
