The main purpose of this book is studying the selected well at the Khabaz oil field, to show various reservoir zones, identify hydrocarbons and pay zones. Data of caliper, Gamma Ray, Density, Neutron, and Resistivity logs were taken for the selected depth (1000ft) in the RCH well. According to the porosity values and the variations of size and shape of the borehole, two major reservoir zones have been identified. Moreover, the porous intervals locate at about (2370-2600ft) and (2700-2892ft), where its value more than 15%. Finally, hydrocarbon has been discovered by resistivity logging tools.

Über den Autor

I was born in Kurdistan in the city of Sulaimani. I was studied a BSc in Geology at the University of Sulaimani. After that, I was awarded a scholarship from KRG/ HCDP to study MSc in the UK, and in 2013 I finished a Master degree at Newcastle University in Petroleum Geochemistry. Currently, I am an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Sulaimani
