Andy Alaszewski is a Professor of Health Studies in The School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research at the University of Kent.

He is the Director of both the Centre for Health Services Studies, and the NHS Research and Development Support Unit for Kent and Surrey.

Andy is an applied social scientist who has been engaged in health services research since 1972.
