Use of multiple single tuned filters in power supply systems has increased rapidly over the past decade. This trend is associated with increasing use of power electronic and electric arcing devices in industrial power supply systems. The book presents concern of transients in filter circuits under typical switching events in power system supplying industrial loads. The manuscript analyzes methods of selecting filter circuits involving multiple single tuned filters on the example of an arc furnace power supply system. The methods is based on existing IEEE Standards and simulation data of transients within the power supply system.

Über den Autor
Michä Gajdzica wurde 1986 in Sosnowiec, Polen, geboren. Er erwarb 2011 und 2012 den [...]. in Energie- und Elektrotechnik an der AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakau. Im Jahr 2016 schloss er seine Promotion zum Thema Transiente in industriellen Energiesystemen mit störenden Lasten ab. Er ist Spezialist für KWK im Fachbereich Elektrotechnik in Krakau.
