Über den Autor
Alexandra Hamer is a novelist, singer-songwriter and facial analyst who just happens to be trans (she/her). She also has ADHD, but no one has convinced her yet that it's a disorder rather than a difference. Her debut novel, To Be A Girl, took 10 years to write, and sets a transgender girl, Emmeline, in Victorian England. She chose this setting because it left Emmeline with no frame of reference, and that meant she could take the reader on a journey with Emmeline, as she tries to unravel her dysphoria one step at a time.Alexandra is currently working on an audiobook version, as well as a sequel.
