There's just something about an old house ...
Whether it inspires memories, fond or sad, or generates questions about the people who lived there, the things that might have happened within its walls, there's just something about an old house that makes us pause and wonder, think, remember.
Join eleven authors as they explore the theme of "This Old House," and invite you into the worlds of their imaginations. Whether it's a mystery, a fantasy quest, a touch of romance, a scary story, a fond look back over the years, a touch of nostalgia and even heartache, there's something here to satisfy every taste.
Join the ACFW Ohio chapter in celebrating young writers, with the four top writers in our first scholarship writing competition featured in these pages. Students from Christian schools across the state were invited to send us their idea of "This Old House." We think you'll be pleased by what they created.
All proceeds from the sale of this anthology go to the scholarship fund, to encourage Christian student writers as they start their writing journey.

Über den Autor
Bettie Boswell is an author, illustrator, and composer for both Christian and children's markets. From high school onward, she has loved creating words and music to enrich the lives of others. It all started with skits for her church youth group, which led to involvement in Christian camp skits and worship songs. As a minister's wife she shares her talents with her church as pianist and choir director. When she isn't writing, drawing or composing, she keeps busy with her day job, teaching at the elementary level in northwest Ohio.
Her numerous musicals have been performed at schools, churches, and two community theater events. Her involvement with community musicals inspired her to write On Cue.
Like Ginny and Scott, she and her husband have had basset hounds and Chihuahuas for pets. Currently, they are owned by one tuxedo cat. They enjoy spending time with their two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
