Beschreibung

Presenting Douglas Adams's wholly remarkable comedy sci-fi series in one massively useful volume: the total package for any interstellar hitchhiker.*

An international phenomenon and pop-culture classic, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has been a radio show, TV series, novel, stage play, comic book and film. Following the galactic (mis)adventures of Arthur Dent, Hitchhiker's in its various incarnations has captured the imaginations of curious minds around the world.

DON'T PANIC

One Thursday lunchtime the Earth is unexpectedly demolished to make way for a new hyperspatial express route. For Arthur Dent, rescued by his best friend Ford (who, even more unexpectedly, turns out to be from another planet), this already seems rather a lot to cope with. Unfortunately, his travels have only just begun. The Galaxy may offer a mind-boggling variety of ways to be blown up and insulted, but it's very hard to get a cup of tea . . .

'One of the greatest achievements in comedy. A work of staggering genius' David Walliams
