Beschreibung
In the late 18th century, the disgraced, false Polish Jewish Messiah Jacob Frank declared that the true Redeemer for whom Jews (and others) have longed and prayed must be a woman. During his imprisonment in the fortress at Czestochowa, he anointed the first and only female Messiah in Jewish history, his own daughter Ewa. Ewa Frank later inherited the leadership of her father's cult and led a band of fanatical and violent followers from her palace in Germany, living a life of extreme luxury and indulgence paid for by the gifts she extracted from her devotees and disciples.

The Siren Song of Jacob Frank's Daughter is the tale of a Polish Jewish merchant named Dovid who becomes secretly obsessed with Ewa Frank and bewitched by her power-even though the Jewish community in which he lives views her with contempt and disgust as a heretic and a fraud. Dovid eventually gives into his obsession and makes a pilgrimage to the palace of Ewa Frank. There he will learn the truth of her teachings and her magic.
