Über den Autor
Harold Bell Wright (1872-1944) was an American novelist, pastor, and lecturer whose works became some of the most widely read books of the early twentieth century. Known for his warm depictions of rural life and moral character, Wright achieved enormous popularity with novels such as The Shepherd of the Hills, The Calling of Dan Matthews, and That Printer of Udell's. His stories, often set in the American Midwest and the Ozarks, combined vivid regional settings with themes of faith, community, and personal integrity.
