He initially studied mechanical engineering and a master's degree in sustainable energy supply and works full-time in the energy industry. Writing and storytelling is a part of his life that he wants to devote more time to again. He and his fiancée are passionate movie lovers and practically live in the cinema. Since her favorite genre is horror, he can also be found in these films. He is also a fan of animal documentaries, anime and board games, likes to go running and listens to a lot of Cloudy June.
