Yet, this steep rise in IQ seems to have been of little help to humanity in addressing and successfully coping with the enormous challenges facing the world today-global climate change, air and water pollution, pandemics, hunger, political instability, global inequality, and weapons of mass destruction, to name a few. Something beyond IQ and the education based on it is needed to successfully confront the problems facing civilization today. We suggest that something is wisdom"--
