Beschreibung
In project-oriented companies, Project Management Offices (PMOs) play a crucial, sometimes central role in aligning and efficiently directing the company's project management activities. As a result, organization-specific structures emerge with varying tasks, functions, and organizational frameworks. The project management profession is subject to changes and new developments. Themes like agility, sustainability, and new or evolving roles pose challenges that PMOs must address in the present and future. The book aims to provide a compact overview of the opportunities PMOs offer and the different implementation approaches available.
