The purpose of this book is to describe and to analyse the human experience of presences. A presence is experienced in an encounter, which stands out from the multiplicity of contacts with things and persons. Über den Autor

Gábor Csepregi is academic advisor at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, Budapest, Hungary
and visiting fellow at St. Paul's College, University of Manitoba, Canada. Formerly he was
president of the Université de Saint-Boniface (Winnipeg) and of the Dominican University
College (Ottawa). He is the author of the following scholarly books: "The Clever Body", "In Vivo
- A Phenomenology of Life-Defining Moments", "Attitudes of Play".
