Derek Jory has been a writer since before he could spel. As a sports writer & reporter for two decades, Derek has covered the Olympics, Stanley Cup Final and the Super Bowl. The inspiration for this New York Times (hopefully) bestselling book came from countless family camping adventures, always searching for the perfect stick. Derek lives in Lake Country, BC, with his wife Tasha and their two incredible children, Denver & [...] Toye is an illustrator and concept designer in the animation industry in Vancouver, BC. He enjoys blending art with his love of hockey, which has led to various collaborations with the Vancouver Canucks. When he is not working, Derek cherishes quality time with his family and quiet moments reading comics with a cup of coffee.
