This cookbook is about recipes collected and created for more than fifty years, although some more recent additions are included. Many dishes are simple and easy, others a little more complex. Stephana Arnold served these dishes to her family when they were growing up and beyond. Macaroni and Cheese Pie and Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie were favourites so she made them often. She needed to share these recipes with others since she felt that other families would enjoy them as well, so decided to place them in her cookbook.

Stephana Arnold is a homemaker and gourmet cook. Her hobby is gardening and in the Summer grows the Scotch Bonnet peppers from which she makes Gourmet Hot Pepper Sauce and uses in her dishes. Stephana is the mother of four adult children and grandmother of six. She lives with her husband in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
