The Nyctalope is the indirect witness to a crime committed by Doctor Korridès, who disintegrated a man who was once one of Leo's allies. Korridès threatens the Nyctalope's wife, Sylvie, and their son Pierre. To protect them, Leo sends them to Spain, to his friend Duke Don Pedro d'Arandar.

His real enemy turns out to be the Red Princess, Diana Ivanovna Krosnovief, who now dubs herself "Titania", is married to Korridès, and is at the head of a new terrorist organization, the Hashshashins. They manages to kidnap Sylvie and Pierre and imprisons them on a small island off the coast of Spain.

The Nyctalope, accompanied by his friends Gnô Mitang, Vitto and Soca, must now storm the island and defeat Titania and Korridès' fearsome lightning projector...
