Über den Autor

Fr. Charbel Abernethy is a Catholic priest, an aggregate monk of Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Redwood Valley, California, and a graduate of the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center. His work is deeply rooted in the wisdom of the Desert Fathers and the teaching of the modern Athonite elders, bringing the Christian contemplative tradition into conversation with a profound understanding of the human heart.Through his books and the work of Philokalia Ministries, he seeks to help Christians encounter the healing love of Christ through prayer, repentance, and purity of heart.
