Über den Autor

I am a writer, long distance cyclist and aspiring ultra runner.

I ride and run for the joy of it, the chance to explore, and for the health and well being it promotes. I ride and run for the camaraderie, but mainly the solitude, in search of stillness in motion, while pushing boundaries. My hope is that as run follows run and ride follows ride, one day I may catch a glimpse of contentment.

I write every week on my Cycle Scribe SubStack at [...] and have published two books of memoir and two books about cycling.

I live in Oxfordshire with a partner Helen and our spaniel called Lola who is always pleased to see me, no matter how long I have been out riding my bike.
