Zusammenfassung
Since the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, racial tensions have reached a fever pitch in the US. Parents have begun demanding their school districts to adopt anti-racist education reforms. This series aims to fill those calls from educators, parents, and students alike.

This series will recast history in a similar critical lens as the New York Times' "1619 Project" but written specifically for readers ages 10 and up.

Created by longtime ABC News political journalist Jennifer Sabin, this series will introduce young readers to riveting and approachable narrative peppered with honest journalism.

Sabin will contribute an introduction to each book along with her interviews with politicians, historians, and other relevant figures.

When necessary, a diverse writer will add an authoritative voice and perspective to these complex topics.

An 8-page color insert with historical photographs will be included in each book.
