The Great Tompall: Forgotten Country Music Outlaw was a departure from my writings as an insurance expert witness and consultant (Inside the Insurance Industry - Third Edition). I have always had a deep love of music and had long dabbled in songwriting, playing guitar and solo performances. Like many, I had dreams of "making it" in the music world. Sadly, it never happened...not even close. But Tompall did. He influenced country music in a big way from the 1960s until the 1990s. And although he is no longer making music, his talent shines brightly in each recording he lovingly produced. Tompall earned several impressive awards during his music career, including songwriting and performance awards. Truly, Tompall's life story would make a fantastic movie. The Great Tompall: Forgotten Country Music Outlaw book captures just a sliver of this icon's life story.
