Über den Autor
Haydn Kaye has loved history since he was very young. His mother helped to spark his interest by telling him what it was like to be a child during World War Two, and ever since then he's often wondered how he might have acted if he'd lived in Germany under the Nazis. He went on to study history at Oxford University, before teaching and writing about historical subjects ranging from the pyramids to the Olympics, and from Queen Elizabeth I to writer Roald Dahl. His latest books for younger readers have been the life stories of Emmeline Pankhurst and Albert Einstein. Amerigo Pinelli lives in the heart of the city of Naples, Italy, among narrow streets and old churches. A long time ago, when he was a child, he met a pencil, and from that moment on he started to play, joke, fight, and make peace with it. He studied in the Art School of Naples and the Comic School of his hometown. He thinks making a living from doing the thing he enjoys the most is a great gift and he considers himself very lucky.
