All aboard! Next stop: Eldritch grotesqueries and mind-bending horror!

Prolific Lovecraftian author Peter Rawlik (with co-writer Sal Ciano) returns to the darker corners of greater Arkham for a new adventure featuring his his occult investigative team of Megan Halsey, Robert Peaslee, and Roman Lydecker.

For the investigators at Halsey, Peaslee and Lydecker, Mondays are a day of rest, because not even undead detectives can work every day. But when the Miskatonic University Spiritualism Club is in trouble, Megan and Robert must undertake a most unusual case. How do a missing student, a haunted train, a spectral song, and a shanty town full of the misshapen fit together? Witch-haunted Arkham may be home to monsters, and Miskatonic University may be the guardian of eldritch secrets, but outside the city limits there are more horrors-ancient, strange horrors-that have waited for millions of years to be free, and their patience is wearing thin.

The Ghost Train follows The Miskatonic University Spiritualism Club and The Eldritch Equations (both are available from Jackanapes Press), but may be enjoyed as a standalone adventure. Featuring numerous creepy and atmospheric interior illustrations by noted weird artist Dan Sauer, this short novel is an enjoyably spooky read.

Über den Autor
PETER RAWLIK is a long-time collector of Lovecraftian fiction and in 1985 stole a car to go see the film Re-Animator. He successfully defended himself by explaining that his father had regularly read him "The Rats in the Walls" as a bedtime story. His first professional sale was in 1997 but he didn't begin to write seriously until 2010. Since then, he has authored more than fifty short stories and the Cthulhu Mythos novels Reanimators, The Weird Company, Reanimatrix, The Peaslee Papers, and The Eldritch Equations. He is a frequent contributor to the Lovecraft eZine. In 2014 his short story "Revenge of the Reanimator" was nominated for a New Pulp Award. In 2015 he co-edited The Legacy of the Reanimator for Chaosium. Somewhere along the line he became known as the Reanimator guy, but he fervently denies being obsessed with the character. His short stories are collected in both Strange Company and Others and The Cthulhu Heresy and Other Lovecraftian Sins. He lives in southern Florida where he works on Everglades issues and does a lot of fishing.
