Economic growth isn’t working, and it cannot be made to work. Matthias Schmelzer is Professor for Social-Ecological Transformation at the University of Flensburg and director of the Norbert Elias Center for Transformation Design & Research. He author of the award-winning The Hegemony of Growth: The OECD and the Making of the Growth Paradigm and co-author of The Future Is Degrowth: A Guide to a World beyond Capitalism.
