Most evangelical Protestants agree that salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. However, what they cannot agree on is the meaning of faith. Are there different kinds of faith in the Bible? Is there saving faith and non-saving faith? Is faith a matter of the mind, or the mind and the emotions, or the mind, emotions, and will? Is faith active or passive on the part of the believer?
