Über den Autor

Richard Ayoade is a highly-tolerated British comedian, BAFTA-winning actor (The IT Crowd), writer, director and TV presenter (the BAFTAS, Travel Man). He regularly appears on shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He wrote and directed the film Submarine from the novel by Joe Dunthorne, and directed and co-wrote (with Avi Korine) The Double. His highly-acclaimed children's books include The Book That No One Wanted to Read and The Fairy Tale Fan Club. He has also written books on film and a biography of playwright Harauld Hughes.

David Roberts is the author-illustrator of the Dirty Bertie books and the illustrator of many beloved, bestselling books for children, including The Fairy Tale Fan Club; The Bolds; the Rosie Revere, Engineer series; the Kate Greenaway-shortlisted The Dunderheads; and the non-fiction children's book Suffragette: The Battle for Equality.
