Beschreibung
What if the Shroud of Turin is not merely an icon, but a witness?
The Face of God examines the Shroud of Turin through forensic evidence, historical research, biblical theology, and Thomistic thought, asking whether this mysterious cloth may bear the material trace of Christ's Passion and Resurrection.
Terry R. Lynch presents a rigorous yet reverent case for taking the Shroud seriously-not as a proof that replaces faith, but as a sign that deepens it. From the wounds of crucifixion to the linen of the tomb, and from the problem of the image to the glory of the risen body, this book offers a compelling apologetic for readers seeking evidence, theology, and wonder.
A powerful exploration of the Shroud, the Resurrection, and the mystery at the heart of Christian faith.
